This X Reality (XR) program lets users get around the city, mixing rhythm pieces from musicians such as Aberton Live and GarageBand at 120 bpm, to play images and music in space freely.
The concept is to visualize the very structure of electronic music, techno, and dance music.
The work is an augmented reality work in which the user interactively mixes a sound kit composed by Intercity-Express.
All of the tracks provided are set to 120 bpm, allowing the user to mix and match individual music pieces such as kick drums, sequences, sound effects, and voices in AR space to build the music.
Users can experience DJ and spatial VJ in AR.
This project is the second phase of au INVISIBLE ART IN PUBLIC and held in conjunction with MUTEK.JP, a festival of electronic music and digital art.

音楽家からBPM120で提供されたリズムピースを、Aberton Liveやガレージバンドといった音楽ソフトのように組み合わせて、空間に映像と音楽を自由に奏でることができる都市回遊型XR企画。エレクトリックミュージック、テクノ、ダンスミュージックの構造そのものをビジュアライズするコンセプト。
Intercity-Expressが手掛けるサウンドキットをAR上でユーザーがインタラクティブにミックスしてゆく作品です。全てのトラックがBPM120で統一されることで、キックドラム、シークエンス、サウンドエフェクト、ボイスなどをAR空間の上でユーザーがミックスしながら音楽を構築してゆきます。
DJと空間的なVJをARの拡張現実でプレイします。
